The Product Customization Profile module allows XoroERP users to define and manage customization profiles efficiently. Creating a product customization profile involves defining the basic customization details, such as the profile name, description, and the VAS item associated with the profile. Once the basic information is define, you will then proceed to define the distinct customization entries that allows you to define the types of customization for a product.
The header section contains the primary details required for creating a customization profile.
Name
This field allows you to assign a name to the customization profile.
Description
This field allows you to add a brief description of the customization profile to clarify its purpose and the types of customizations it includes.
Vas Item#
This field allows you to select a Value-Added Service (VAS) item from the dropdown to associate with the profile. This VAS item will determine the cost for customizing the product. Please note that only items with fixed cost type are available for selection.
Is Mandatory?
This checkbox indicates whether selecting this customization should be mandatory for customers during the checkout process. By default, this feature will be enabled for all profiles.
Active
This checkbox allows you to specify whether the customization profile is currently active. All the profiles are active by default. Uncheck this box to disable a customization profile.
The detail section is where the customization options within the profile are defined. Once you have filled in the Header Section, you can move to the Detail Section to specify the individual customization options.
Name
Type
This option allows you to select the type of customization from the available options, which include:
Image: Allows for the upload of an image (logo, design, etc.).
Single Select Option: Provides customers with a single selection option. Multiple values can be added for this type, but only one can be selected when defining the customization for the item.
Multi Select Option: Allows customers to choose multiple options. Multiple values can be added for this type, and user can select one or more when defining the customization for the item.
Notes: Allows you to all comments or additional instructions when defining the customization for the item.
Value
This field is used to define the value or set of values associated with the selected type. However, it is disabled for Image and Notes types, as these do not require a value.
After adding all the details, click "Add" to add the customization entry. This entry will be added at the section below. After adding all the entries, click "Save" to create the customization profile.
To ensure data integrity, the system checks for duplicate entries and prevents them from being created. The Name field must be unique for all records, ensuring that each detail entry in your customization profile has a distinct name.
Void: This option allows you to delete a product customization profile.
