Products & Inventory

The Products tab under Products & Inventory provides options to control the direction and type of product synchronization between Xoro and Shopify.

• Sync products: Enable this option to synchronize new products and product updates from Xoro to Shopify. This is used when Xoro is the source for product information that needs to be pushed to Shopify.
• Sync product prices only: Enable this option to synchronize item price updates from Xoro to Shopify without performing a full product synchronization. When the Standard Unit Price or any Custom Price (1–14) is updated, Xoro triggers the Item Price Update webhook.

  • The webhook is triggered for price updates made through Item Price Centre batch updates, Item updates, Item Centre batch updates, Currency Price Import, and updates to existing items through Upload/API.
  • The updated values can be verified on the corresponding Shopify product based on the configured settings, such as the Item Price Currency Code, Compare-at Price field, and other applicable price mappings.
• Pull products: Enable this option to synchronize active products from Shopify to Xoro. This is used when product information needs to be pulled from Shopify into Xoro.

Please note that the products can either be synced from Xoro to Shopify or pulled from Shopify to Xoro. When the Sync products or Sync product prices only checkbox is enabled, Pull products is automatically hidden. When Pull products is enabled, the Sync products and Sync product prices only checkboxes are automatically hidden.

In order to sync inventory from Xoro to Shopify, you will need to enable the inventory sync as shown in the image below.
