Sales Tax Report (Accrual)
What is a Sales Tax Report (Accrual)?
The Sales Tax Report (Accrual) provides a detailed summary of sales tax calculated on sales transactions recorded within a selected reporting period using the accrual accounting method. Under the accrual method, sales tax is reported based on the transaction date rather than the payment date, making the report suitable for businesses that file taxes on an accrual basis.
The report includes detailed tax information for sales invoices and other taxable transactions, including customer details, reference numbers, tax codes, shipping charges, taxable amounts, and total tax collected. This enables users to review GST or other sales tax amounts, analyze tax liabilities, and generate detailed tax reports for reporting and compliance purposes.
