# Wave Centre

### Overview

The **Wave Centre** provides various header-level options, search fields, and grid columns that allow users to manage, search, and monitor wave records efficiently. It acts as a central workspace where users can filter waves, perform bulk actions, print wave documents, manage picking activities, and track the progress of wave processing without opening individual wave records.

### Header Level Options

The following options are available under the **Options** menu in the Wave Centre. These options allow users to perform actions on selected wave records.

* **Lock Wave(s):** Locks the selected wave(s) to prevent further modifications until they are unlocked.
* **Unlock Wave(s):** Unlocks previously locked wave(s), allowing users to modify and process them again.
* **Merge:** Combines multiple selected waves into a single wave for consolidated processing. Waves can be merged only when they belong to the **same store**, are not in **Shipped**, **Void**, **Closed**, **Produced**, or **Disassembled** status, and have the same **lock status** (locked waves cannot be merged with unlocked waves). During the merge confirmation process, the selected waves must also have the **same customer** and **ship-to address** before the merge can be completed.
* **Batch Update:** Allows users to update selected wave records in bulk.
* **Void:** Voids the selected wave(s), preventing further processing of the selected records.
* **Set Priority:** Assigns or updates the priority of the selected wave(s) to control the picking sequence.
* **Reassign Picking Task:** Reassigns the picking task of the selected wave(s) to another picker or resource.
* **Batch Pick Wave(s):** Initiates the picking process for multiple selected waves simultaneously. After selecting multiple waves and choosing **Batch Pick Wave(s)**, the selected waves are displayed in the **Pick Wave** module. The waves are then [processed individually](/xoroerp-1/warehouse/picking/pick-wave/picking-a-wave.md#how-to-pick-a-wave), where you can select each wave to **Fulfill**, **Close**, and **Ship** it as required.

### Header Level Search Fields

These fields allow users to filter and locate specific wave records.

| **Field**     | **Description**                                                                                                                                   |

### Header Level Icons

These features provide quick actions for managing and viewing wave records.

* **Print Wave:** Prints the selected wave using the chosen reporting template. Clicking **Print Wave** opens the **Select Reporting Template** window, where users can select the required document template (such as **Pick Sheet**, **Shipping Label**, or other configured templates) before generating the report. For example, users can select the **Shipping Label - Hardy Sales** template to print a shipping label for every carton scanned during the pick process. The report includes shipment information retrieved from the Sales Order Header and Sales Order Detail, and users can optionally enable **Send to Printer** or **Capture Signature** before generating the report.
* **Refresh:** Refreshes the wave records based on the applied search criteria to display the most recent data.
* **Save:** Preserves user interface settings such as column preferences for future sessions.
* **Advance Search:** Allows users to quickly search for wave records using the entered search criteria.
* **Generate Link:** Provides quick access to related pages or functions associated with the selected wave.
* **Columns:** Allows users to customize the grid by showing or hiding available columns.
* **Download:** Exports wave data in supported formats for reporting and analysis.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.xorosoft.com/xoroerp-1/warehouse/picking/wave-centre.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
