What is Advance Shipping Notice (ASN)?

An Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) is a document that provides details about pending deliveries. It provides details about the contents of the shipment, such as the products, quantities, and other relevant information. The recipient can use the information provided in the ASN to prepare for the arrival of the shipment.

The ASN also allows the recipient to verify that the contents of the shipment match the details of the purchase order. Any discrepancies or issues can be addressed before the goods are received.
