Edit Qty

The Edit Qty module in the Pick section of XoroWMS is designed to help warehouse users manage and transfer items from one carton or OLPN to an LPN in the warehouse (ILPN) efficiently. During the picking process, it is common for adjustments to be needed due to incorrect item quantities or the need to transfer items between different cartons or locations within the warehouse. This module simplifies the process by allowing users to edit the quantity of items in an OLPN and move those items to an LPN in the warehouse.

In essence, the users are shifting the items from a cart to a location in the warehouse.

To edit the quantity of an OLPN, go to Home > Pick > Edit Qty

Edit Qty Fields

• OLPN#: This is where you input the OLPN number associated with the items you wish to transfer.

• Destination LPN#: This field is used to specify the destination LPN to which the contents of the OLPN will be transferred.

Edit Qty Process

1. Input the OLPN#: Enter the OLPN number in the OLPN# field and press Enter. The system will retrieve and display the following OLPN details:

   • Store: The store location associated with the OLPN.

   • Location: The specific location within the warehouse.

   • Location Barcode: The barcode linked to the location.

   

2. Specify the Destination LPN#: Input the LPN to which you want to transfer the contents and press Accept.

   
3. Select the Item to Transfer: On the next screen, enter the item you wish to transfer and press Enter.

   
4. Adjust the Transfer Quantity: Adjust the quantity of the selected item you wish to move from the OLPN to the destination LPN.

   
5. Complete the Transfer: Press "Accept" to complete the transfer of the item.

   
6. Repeat if Necessary: If you have additional items to transfer, repeat steps 3-5 as required.

Wave Line Status Update

It’s important to note that the status of the wave item line associated with the OLPN will change based on how much of the contents are transferred:

• All Contents Transferred: If you move all the units of the item from the OLPN, the status of the wave item line will be updated from “Picked” to “Allocated.”

• Partial Contents Transferred: If only some units of an item are moved, the status of the wave item line changes from “Picked” to “In Picking.”
