Edit LPN Qty

The Edit LPN Qty module in XoroWMS allows users to modify the quantity of items stored within an existing LPN. This is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records, streamlining warehouse operations, and avoiding issues related to order processing due to discrepancies in inventory levels.

There are several scenarios where editing LPN quantity is necessary, including:

• Inventory Adjustments: You may need to reflect changes in your inventory due to returns, damages, or stock adjustments.

• Inventory Reconciliation: The module helps you reconcile your physical inventory with your records, ensuring accuracy and preventing discrepancies.

• Stock Transfers: If you need to transfer items between different locations within your warehouse, the "Edit LPN Qty" module can be used to update the LPNs accordingly.

Editing LPN Quantity

To edit the item quantity in an LPN, you must enter the LPN details and the item number you want to update.

To edit the quantity of an item in a LPN, go to home > Receive > Edit LPN Qty

Edit LPN Qty Fields

• LPN: This field allows you to enter the LPN whose quantity you want to edit.

• Item#: This field allows you to enter the item in the LPN whose quantity you want to update.

• Qty: This field allows you to enter the update quantity of the item in the LPN.

To edit the LPN quantity, you will begin by entering the LPN number and the item number whose quantity you want to update. After enter the details, hit "Enter". In the Qty field, you will see the current quantity of items available in the selected LPN. Update the quantity as desired. Use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease the quantity of the items in the LPN.

After updating the quantity, click "Accept" to apply the changes.

Important Considerations

• Ensure that the LPN number is correct and the item is available in the LPN. If the LPN number is incorrect or the item is not found, the system will display an error message.

• Verify that the updated quantity is accurate to maintain inventory integrity.
