Auto-Skip “Enter Pick Location” for Virtual Allocations
An enhancement has been introduced in the WMS Picking workflow related to the Require LPN# Scanning app configuration.
When this configuration is disabled, and a wave is allocated entirely to virtual location(s), the Enter Pick Location page will now be skipped during the picking process.
This change applies to the Pick Wave module and WMS Picking flow, ensuring smoother navigation when physical location scanning is not required.

How It Works:
Configuration Behavior
The system behavior depends on the Require LPN# Scanning app configuration:
When Enabled: The picking process functions as usual. The Enter Pick Location page appears as part of the standard workflow.
When Disabled: If the wave allocation is done exclusively through one or more virtual locations:
The Enter Pick Location page is automatically skipped.
The picking process continues directly to the next applicable step.
This behavior applies only when the allocation is entirely virtual.
Picking Actions Compatibility
When the Enter Pick Location page is skipped, the following actions continue to function correctly during picking:
New Carton
Split Allocation
Consolidate
Palletize
Edit Qty
Revert Quantity
All these actions remain fully operational without requiring the Enter Pick Location step.
For example:
In multi-carton picking, once a carton is accepted, the Enter Pick Location page will not appear again.
If the Enter Pick Location page is set to be disabled for a task, it will not be accessible through any redirection or action.
Impact:
This enhancement streamlines the picking process in scenarios where allocation is fully virtual, and LPN scanning is not required.
Operational Impact:
Reduces unnecessary screen steps in virtual allocation workflows.
Maintains full compatibility with carton management and quantity adjustment actions.
Ensures consistent navigation behavior across different picking scenarios.
Prevents accidental access to the Enter Pick Location page when it is intentionally disabled.
No additional configuration changes are required unless users want to modify the behavior by enabling or disabling the Require LPN# Scanning setting.
This update improves workflow efficiency while preserving all existing picking functionalities.
WMS Receiving – Auto Generate Pallet Number Enhancement
Overview:
A new “Auto Generate” feature has been added to the Scan Pallet page in the WMS Receiving module.
This enhancement allows the system to automatically generate a pallet number during the receiving process, eliminating the need for manually entering the pallet number and improving operational speed.

How It Works:
On the Scan Pallet page within the Receiving workflow:
A new Auto Generate button is available.
When clicked, the system automatically generates a new pallet number.
Once the pallet number is generated, the workflow automatically moves to the next step, which is the Staging Location page.
This functionality removes the requirement to manually scan or enter a pallet number before proceeding.
Impact:
This enhancement simplifies the pallet scanning process during receiving operations.
Operational Impact:
Reduces manual data entry during pallet creation.
Speeds up the receiving workflow.
Ensures consistent pallet numbering.
Minimizes user errors related to manual pallet number input.
No additional configuration changes are required to use this feature.
WMS Cycle Count – LPN Attributes Visibility Enhancement
Overview:
LPN attributes have been added to the cycle count line display in Cycle Count by Batch (CC by Batch) and Cycle Count by Location (CC by Location).
This enhancement improves visibility of LPN-related information during the cycle counting process.
How It Works:
Within both the CC by Batch and CC by Location screens:
LPN attributes are now displayed at the cycle count line level.
Users can view LPN-specific details directly within the count interface.
No changes have been made to the existing counting workflow.
The enhancement adds additional information to the display without altering validation logic or counting steps.

Impact:
This update improves transparency during inventory verification.
Operational Impact:
Provides better visibility of LPN-related information during counting.
Reduces the need to navigate to separate screens for LPN details.
Supports more accurate reconciliation during cycle counts.
No configuration changes are required to use this enhancement.
Track Master Case Dimensions Enhancement
Overview:
A new app configuration, “Track Master Case Dimensions”, has been added under the WMS tab.
When enabled, this configuration tracks and manages master case dimensions (Length, Width, Height, and Weight) at the ILPN level across ASN creation, receiving, packing, and inventory movement processes.
This enhancement ensures consistent dimension tracking throughout warehouse operations.

How It Works:
App Configuration
When Track Master Case Dimensions is enabled, the system activates dimension tracking behavior across the following modules:
A. Create ASN
During ASN creation, the item’s Master Case Length/Width/Height/Weight are automatically passed to the corresponding Master Case fields in the ASN Detail.
This ensures dimension consistency between item master data and ASN records.
B. Receiving in ERP
When receiving an ASN in ERP:
The dimensions from the ASN Detail are passed to the corresponding ILPN Length/Width/Height/Weight fields.
This behavior applies to:
Batch Receive
Quick Receive
Receive
Receive by Uploads
C. Receiving in WMS
Behavior during WMS receiving depends on configuration and process type:
If “Suppress LPN Attributes Page in Receiving” is enabled and all LPN attribute toggles for the item are disabled:

A pop-up displaying ILPN dimensions is rendered.
Otherwise, LPN dimensions are displayed on the LPN Attributes page.
Dimension Prefill Rules:
Dimensions are prefilled only in Receive by Item, based on the ASN Detail Master Case dimensions.
If ASN dimensions are empty or 0, the item’s Master Case dimensions are displayed instead.
Receive by UCC:
The ILPN Dimensions pop-up is always rendered, regardless of the Suppress LPN Attributes configuration.
D. Packing
For Full Case LPN, Length/Width/Height/Weight values are automatically prefilled based on the stored LPN dimensions.
E. Inventory Movement
ERP
LPN Dimensions have been added to the Inventory Movement module.
During inventory movement:
“To LPN” dimension fields take priority if provided.
If not specified, dimensions from the source LPN are passed to the destination LPN.
WMS
During Move Inventory by Item, dimensions are automatically passed from the From LPN to the To LPN.
F. Inventory by Location
Support has been added to edit LPN dimensions directly from the Inventory by Location screen.
Impact
This enhancement standardizes dimension tracking across receiving, packing, and inventory movement workflows.
Operational Impact:
Ensures consistent ILPN dimension data from ASN to final storage.
Reduces manual dimension entry.
Improves accuracy for full-case packing and pallet handling.
Enhances traceability of physical case dimensions during inventory transfers.
Provides flexibility to update LPN dimensions directly from Inventory by Location.
No additional workflow changes are required beyond enabling the Track Master Case Dimensions configuration.
Edit Qty Enhancement – Multi-Wave & Master Case Handling
Overview:
The Edit Qty functionality has been enhanced to provide greater flexibility when managing picks across multiple waves under the same OLPN. This update improves visibility, control, and accuracy during quantity edits, especially for Master Case and Each Pick scenarios.
How It Works:
1. Multi-Item, Multi-Wave Support (Same OLPN)
Edit Qty now supports multiple items across multiple waves, provided they belong to the same OLPN.
If an item is part of multiple picked waves under the same OLPN:
A pop-up window will be displayed.
The pop-up lists all picked waves associated with that item.
The table includes the following columns:
Item#
Wave#
Qty To Edit
This ensures clear visibility of wave-level quantity distribution before making edits.

Master Case Picks – Edit Qty Behavior
The system handles Edit Qty for Master Case Picks based on the destination entered in the To Location/LPN# field.
If a non-virtual location is entered:
The entire case will be moved to the specified location.
Partial quantity editing is not permitted in this scenario.
If a virtual location/LPN# is entered:
The Enter Item and Qty for Edit Qty page is displayed.
The user can define the specific quantity to edit.
Each Pick Behavior
For Each Pick cases, the Enter Item and Qty for Edit Qty page is always displayed.
Users must manually select and adjust the required quantity.
Impact
Improved handling of multi-wave scenarios under the same OLPN.
Increased visibility into wave-level allocations.
Clear distinction between Master Case and Each Pick behavior during quantity edits.
Reduced risk of incorrect quantity adjustments.
New Field Added – Consolidate in “Restrict LPN(s) in WMS Using Regular Expressions” App Config
Overview
A new field "Consolidate" has been added under the App Configuration Restrict LPN(s) in WMS Using Regular Expressions.
This enhancement enables users to restrict LPNs specifically during the consolidation process by applying regular expression-based validation rules.

How It Works:
When the App Configuration Restrict LPN(s) in WMS Using Regular Expressions is enabled, the system validates LPN values based on the defined regex pattern.
The newly added Consolidate field ensures that the validation rule is also enforced during LPN consolidation.
This provides greater control over which LPN formats are allowed during consolidation activities.
Example Validation Rule
To allow only LPN values that start with OLPN or LPN, the following regular expression can be configured:
Explanation:
^OLPN→ Allows values that start with “OLPN”LPN.*$→ Allows values that start with “LPN”
Any LPN that does not match this pattern will be restricted during consolidation.
Impact:
Prevents invalid or incorrectly formatted LPNs during consolidation.
Ensures standardized LPN naming conventions.
Enhances data integrity within WMS operations.
App Config – Blocked operations for Locked Orders
Overview
A new application configuration setting, "Block operations for locked orders", has been introduced.
When enabled, this setting restricts specific operations from being performed on locked Sales Orders, ensuring order integrity and preventing unintended changes.

Blocked Operations
When a Sales Order is locked and this configuration is enabled, the following actions will be restricted:
Release SO
Update SO
Create Wave
Pick Wave
Close Wave
Print Wave
Ship SO
Void Wave
Users attempting any of the above actions on a locked Sales Order will be prevented from proceeding.
This enhancement strengthens process control by safeguarding locked Sales Orders from operational modifications.
3PL Account Dropdown in ASN View (ASN Center)
Overview: Added support for a 3PL Account dropdown field in the ASN View screen within the ASN Center.
This enhancement enables users to directly view and select the associated 3PL Account from the ASN details screen, improving visibility and operational control when managing inbound shipments linked to third-party logistics providers.

Key Highlights:
Introduced a new 3PL Account dropdown in the ASN View.
Allows selection and visibility of associated 3PL accounts directly within ASN details.
Enhances traceability and accuracy for 3PL-based inbound processing.
Streamlines ASN management workflows within the ASN Center.
App Config – Restrict Wave Creation Without Carton Break Rule
Overview: A new application configuration setting, "Restrict Wave Creation Without Carton Break Rule," has been introduced.
When enabled, this setting prevents wave creation for Sales Orders (SO) and Manufacturing Orders (MO) if a Carton Break Rule is not selected. This ensures proper cartonization logic is enforced before proceeding with wave processing.

How It Works:
When App Config is Enabled:
Wave creation is restricted if no Carton Break Rule is selected.
System displays appropriate UI validation message.
User must select a valid Carton Break Rule before proceeding.
When App Config is Disabled:
Wave creation proceeds without requiring a Carton Break Rule.
No validation is enforced for Carton Break Rule selection.
LPN Attributes Added to ILPN Lookup and OLPN Lookup
Overview: LPN Attributes have been added to both ILPN Lookup and OLPN Lookup screens.
This enhancement provides greater visibility into LPN-level attribute details directly from the lookup screens, improving traceability, validation, and operational decision-making during warehouse processes.
Key Highlights
LPN Attributes are now displayed in:
ILPN Lookup
OLPN Lookup
Enhances transparency of LPN-specific information.
Reduces the need to navigate to additional screens for attribute verification.
Supports better operational accuracy during inbound and outbound processes.

Sales Order Batch Generation Enhancement
Overview:
Sales order batches can now be generated for orders with allocation status “Closed” without requiring users to manually undo the “Ready to Ship” status.
This enhancement improves operational flexibility in batch creation workflows.
How It Works:
Previously, if a sales order was marked as Ready to Ship and had allocation status Closed, users were required to manually reverse the "Ready to Ship" status before generating a sales order batch.
With this update:
Sales order batches can be generated directly for orders with allocation status Closed.
The system no longer requires the removal of the Ready to Ship status before batch creation.
Existing allocation and shipping validations remain unchanged.
This ensures batch generation can proceed without additional manual intervention.
Impact:
This update simplifies batch processing for closed allocations.
Operational Impact:
Eliminates unnecessary manual status adjustments.
Reduces processing time during batch creation.
Minimizes the risk of workflow errors caused by status toggling.
Improves efficiency for teams managing high-volume shipping operations.
No configuration changes are required to use this enhancement.
