Bill Of Material Centre Fields

Bill of Material Centre house all the BOMs created in the system, including the various BOM revisions. It streamlines the management and navigation of Bill of Materials (BOMs) through customizable search criteria and intuitive interface features. Let's have a look at the key fields and options available within this centre.

Header Level Options

The Header Level Options in the Bill of Material Centre provide quick access to commonly used actions for managing and maintaining BOM records in bulk.

• Print Allows users to print the selected Bill of Materials for documentation, review, or offline reference.

• Batch Delete Enables deletion of multiple selected BOMs at once. Only BOMs that have not been used in any Manufacturing Order can be deleted.

• Batch Update BOM JSON Allows users to update the underlying BOM JSON structure for multiple selected BOMs simultaneously. This option is typically used for advanced corrections, configuration adjustments, or data alignment across multiple BOM records.

• Batch Updates Enables bulk updates of common BOM fields across selected records. This option is used to apply consistent changes to multiple BOMs in a single operation, reducing manual effort and ensuring data consistency.

Context View (Right-click) Options

• Open: Allows you to view the BOM details in a read-only mode.

• Delete: Deletes the BOM.

• Edit in new window: Opens the BOM details in a new window for viewing and editing without leaving the main Bill of Materials Centre page.

Header Search Fields

The Bill of Material Centre provides users with multiple search criteria options to filter and locate specific BOMs efficiently.

• Show Active Only: Enable this option to only view the BOMs that are marked as "Active".

• Search By: This dropdown option allows you to view the result by "Bill Of Material" or "Bill Of Material Lines".

• Item#: This allows you to search and filter the results by BOM item name.

• Description: This allows you to search and filter the results by BOM item description.

• Include Revisions: Enable this option to view all the BOM revisions in the search results.

• Show Latest Revision: Enable this option only show the latest BOM revisions in the centre.

Header Level Icons

These features cater to diverse needs, providing users with a seamless experience while navigating and managing customer information.

• Refresh: This functionality empowers users to refresh search results based on selected criteria, ensuring that the displayed information is always up-to-date.

• Save: Save feature enables users to preserve any updated user interface (UI) settings, ensuring a personalized and consistent experience during future interactions with the module.

• Advanced Search: The Advanced Search option elevates customer information retrieval to a sophisticated level. Users can delve into a nuanced search by specifying criteria such as Column Name, Operator, and Value, facilitating precise and tailored searches.

• Columns: All the columns available for the module are listed under this icon. You can use this option to hide or add the columns and tailor the module view as per your requirements. The options in the dropdown change as per the selected option in the Search By Field.

BOM Id	Unique identifier assigned to the Bill of Material record.
Name	Name of the Bill of Material.
Item	Manufacture item number associated with the BOM.
Description	Description of the manufactured item.
BOM Type	Type of BOM (e.g., Single-Level, Multi-Level).
Revision	Revision number of the Bill of Material.
Memo	Additional notes or information recorded for the BOM.
UOM	Unit of Measure used for the BOM item.
Valid From	Date from which the BOM revision becomes effective.
Valid To	Date until which the BOM revision remains valid.
Create Datetime	Date and time when the BOM record was created.
Created By	User who created the BOM.
Modified Datetime	Date and time when the BOM was last modified.
Modified By	User who last modified the BOM.
Is Active?	Indicates whether the BOM is currently active.
Is Reconciled?	Indicates whether the Bill has been reconciled.
Is Revision	Indicates whether the record represents a BOM revision.
BOM Instruction	Manufacturing instructions associated with the BOM.
PPE Notes	Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) instructions linked to the BOM.
Is Latest?	Indicates whether this is the latest revision of the BOM.
Sent by Scheduler	Indicates whether the BOM was created or updated via scheduler.
Is BOM Item Active?	Indicates whether the manufactured BOM item is active.
BOM TYPE	This field displays the type of BOM
Revision	Displays the revision number of the Bill of Material when the update type is set to Bill of Material.

For Search by Bill Of Material Lines

Column Name	Description
BOM Name	Name assigned to the Bill of Material.
BOM Item	Finished good or parent item associated with the BOM.
Sequence	Sequence number defining the order of components in the BOM.
RM Item	This field mentions the raw material item used within the BOM.
BOM UOM	Unit of Measure defined at the BOM level (litre, unit, kilogram, etc).
Description	Description of the BOM or component line.
Qty	Quantity of the raw material required.
Unit Cost	Cost per unit of the raw material.
Notes	Additional notes related to the BOM line.
Line UOM	Unit of Measure used at the BOM line level. for eg: Each", "Kilogram", etc
Create Datetime	Date and time when the BOM line was created.
Revision	Revision number associated with the BOM.
Create Datetime Header	Creation timestamp of the BOM header.
RM Type	Classification of the raw material (Inventory, Non-Inventory, etc.).
Created By	User who created the BOM record.
Modified Datetime	Date and time of the last modification.
Modified By	User who last modified the record.
Alternative Item Number1	Alternate reference number for the item that is any other additional identification.
Alternative Item Number2	Second alternate reference number.
Alternative Item Number3	Third alternate reference number.
Barcode	Barcode linked to the item, if applicable.
Prevent Sub MO	Indicates whether sub manufacturing orders are restricted even if it is allowed in the App Config.
Is Revision	Indicates whether the record belongs to a revision.
Is Latest?	Identifies whether the BOM revision is the latest version.
Memo	Internal memo associated with the BOM which can be details or instructions that are essential during the manufacturing
Created By Header	User who created the BOM header.
Modified Datetime Header	Last modification timestamp of the BOM header.
Modified By Header	User who last modified the BOM header.
Sent by Scheduler	Indicates whether the record was processed via scheduler.(Y/N)
Sub BOM Revision	Revision number of the linked sub-BOM, if applicable.
Default Location	Default inventory location used for the raw material.
Average Unit Cost	Average cost calculated for the raw material.
