# What is 3PL Account?

The **3PL Account** module in XoroERP is designed for businesses that operate as third-party logistics (3PL) providers. This module allows 3PL providers to define and manage client accounts. This allows the business to handle inventory and operations in the system, on behalf of various businesses that need outsourced warehouse and logistics support. 

The 3PL Account module allows 3PL providers to define accounts for each client they serve. This helps organize inventory management, order processing, and storage costs by client, ensuring that each business has its specific configurations and logistics requirements within the XoroERP system.

Once a 3PL account is created, it can be assigned to specific items, customers, and vendors. This ensures that each 3PL client operates with its dedicated inventory, and transactions are limited to items tied to that specific 3PL account.
