Tag Management

Tag Management is a versatile module designed to facilitate the creation and organization of all types of tags across various elements within your system. This module ensures efficient categorization and easy retrieval of information by allowing users to create and manage tags effortlessly.

Understanding Tag Types

Tag Management empowers users to create tags across five distinct categories, each serving a specific purpose within the system:

1. Order Tags: Primarily utilized in sales and purchase orders, these tags categorize transactions based on criteria such as retail or wholesale distinctions.

2. Customer Tags: Tailored for customer segmentation, these tags enable users to group customers efficiently, facilitating targeted marketing strategies.

3. Item Tags: Designed for items within the system, these tags aid in inventory management and classification.

4. Task Tags: Essential for assigning time-bound tasks to users, these tags assist in task organization and prioritization.

5. Product Tags: Similar to item tags, product tags categorize products within the system, enhancing product management processes.

Creating Tags

Creating tags within the Tag Management module is a straightforward process that involves defining the tag type and name. To initiate tag creation:

1. Navigate to Menu > Admin > Tag Management.

2. Select the desired tag type from the "Tag Type" dropdown menu.

3. Enter the tag name in the designated field.

4. Click "Add Tag" to generate the tag within the system.

Once the tag is created, it can be utilized in the respective modules.

Depending on the app configurations, the system enables users to create tags dynamically. This means that when assigning a tag to an element if the tag does not already exist in the system, the system automatically generates a new tag. Subsequently, this new tag can be found within the Tag Management module.

Tag Deletion

In instances where tags need to be removed for organizational purposes, the Tag Management module offers a hassle-free deletion process. To delete tags:

1. Click on the "Bin" icon located beside the tag you wish to delete.

2. The system also allows you to delete multiple tags at once. For bulk tag deletion, select the tags you wish to delete, navigate to Options, and choose "Batch Delete" to remove tags efficiently.

Tags are extremely useful for efficient data organization, allowing users to categorize, group, and manage various elements effortlessly. With this module, users can streamline workflows, improve data accessibility, and enhance overall efficiency in managing diverse elements within their systems.
