The Item Lookup module in the XoroWMS app allows users to search for and view detailed information about items stored in the warehouse. This feature is essential for inventory management, ensuring quick access to item details, and facilitating efficient warehouse processes.
Store Code: Displays the store code associated with the user's default store. This ensures that the search is conducted within the correct warehouse or facility.
Item#/UPC: Allows the user to enter either the item's unique item number, its Universal Product Code (UPC), inner case UPC or master case UPC.
After entering the required information, press "Enter" to initiate the search and retrieve the item details.
Upon completing the search, the system presents item details in a well-organized format, divided into sub-sections for user clarity.
1. Item Description and Options
At the top of the details section, item description is displayed along with option 2. This overview helps users quickly identify the correct item and understand its key attributes.
2. Item Details
This section provides comprehensive information about the item, which is crucial for inventory tracking and management. The fields in this section include:
Item#: This field shows the unique identifier of the item.
Barcode: This field displays the barcode associated with the item, used for scanning and quick identification.
Alternative Item Number 1: This field displays the alternative item number 1 assigned to the item.
Alternative Item Number 2: This field displays the alternative item number 2 assigned to the item.
Alternative Item Number 3: This field shows the alternative item number 3 assigned to the item.
3. Location and Inventory Details
This section focuses on the item's location within the warehouse and its current inventory status. The fields in this section include:
Location#/LPN#: This field displays the specific location or LPN where the item is stored within the warehouse. The location list is displayed in ascending alphabetical order (sorted from A to Z).
Available: The field displays the quantity of the item that is currently available for picking or shipping.
Not Available: This field displays the quantity of the item that is not available due to reasons such as damage, quality issues, or being reserved for other orders.
On Hand: This field displays the total quantity of the item physically present in the warehouse, regardless of its availability status.
Allocated: This field displays the quantity of the item that has been allocated to orders or other purposes but has not yet been picked or shipped.
Quality: This field shows the quality status of the item, indicating whether the item is in good condition, requires inspection, or has been marked as damaged.
Pallet: This field shows the pallet number associated with the item.
