The Order Lookup module in XoroWMS is a powerful tool that provides users with comprehensive details related to Sales Orders (SO). This feature is essential for quickly accessing and managing order information, ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse. Below is an overview of how the Order Lookup submodule works and the key details it offers.
To use the Order Lookup submodule, simply enter the SO number into the designated field. Once you do this, the system will automatically redirect you to a detailed page where all relevant information about the order is displayed.
At the top of the Order Lookup page, you will find key summary details that give you a quick snapshot of the order’s status:
OLPN Count: This refers to the number of Order License Plate Numbers (OLPNs) associated with the SO. Each OLPN represents a unique identifier for tracking the shipment and storage of the order.
Pallet Count: This indicates the total number of pallets assigned to the SO. It helps in understanding the physical space occupied by the order in the warehouse.
Weight: The total weight of the order is displayed here, which is crucial for logistics planning and ensuring that handling capacities are not exceeded.
QTY Picked: This shows the quantity of items that have already been picked from the inventory for this order. It provides insight into the progress of the order fulfillment process.
Below the header, more specific details about the order are listed, helping users to manage and track the order effectively:
Order Number: The unique identifier for the Sales Order, which is essential for referencing and tracking the order throughout its lifecycle.
OLPN#: The specific OLPN number associated with each part of the order. This allows for detailed tracking of individual packages or units within the larger order.
Wave#: The wave number assigned to the order. In warehouse operations, waves are used to group and prioritize orders for picking and processing. The wave number helps in understanding the order's position in the workflow.
Pallet#: This indicates the specific pallet number on which the items are placed, facilitating easy location and handling within the warehouse.
Location: The exact location of the items in the warehouse. Knowing the location helps in efficiently retrieving and managing inventory.
QTY Picked: As in the header, this detail shows the quantity of items picked but is broken down by specific OLPNs or pallets for more granular tracking.
Status: The current status of the order, which can include stages such as "Picked," "Packed," or "Shipped." This status update is crucial for monitoring the progress of the order fulfillment process.
The Order Lookup submodule in XoroWMS is an essential tool for managing Sales Orders with precision. By providing both a high-level summary and detailed information, it enables users to keep track of every aspect of an order—from the number of OLPNs and pallets to the exact location and status of each item. This functionality ensures that warehouse operations remain efficient and that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
