Pick Task Assignment

The Pick Assignment module in XoroWMS serves as a central hub for managing and initiating the picking process for all the tasks and waves created in the system. This module enables warehouse users to efficiently locate and select tasks or waves that require picking, providing a streamlined method to assign picking operations.

In the Pick Assignment module, users can:

• View a list of all available tasks and waves that need picking.

• Filter tasks by various criteria to find the most relevant assignment.

• Initiate the picking process by selecting a task or wave.

Pick Assignment Fields

• Task#: This field allows you to enter the task id for which you want to initiate the picking process.

• Wave#: This field allows you to enter the wave number and search the tasks associated with that wave.

Pick Assignment Filters

The module provides several filters to narrow down tasks or waves based on specific criteria:

• Pick By Wave: Allows users to filter tasks based on wave.

• Replenishments: Allows users to view only replenishment tasks.

• Case Picks: Displays tasks that involve picking inventory by the case.

• Each Pick: Lists tasks where individual units of items are picked, as opposed to entire cases.

• Waiting For Replenishment: Shows tasks that are waiting for inventory replenishment before they can proceed.

• Account 3PL: Allows users to filter the tasks by 3PL account.

Pick Assignment Module Columns

Column	Description
Task#	This column specifies the unique identifier assigned to each picking task in the system.
Wave#	This column displays the wave number associated with the task. A wave organizes multiple pick tasks into a single operation.
Zone	This column indicated the designated area within the warehouse where the pick task is assigned.
Status	This column shows the status of the wave.
Priority	This columns specifies the priority assigned to the wave.
Qty Allocated	This column shows the total quantity of items allocated for the pick task.
Order Type	This column specifies the type of order associated with the pick task.
Case Count	This field shows the case quantity defined for the item in the pick task.
3PL Account	This field refers to the 3PL associated with the pick task.
Order Count	This field shows the total number of individual orders associated with the pick task.
Line Count	This field displays the number of distinct item lines in the pick task.
Customer	This field displays the customer associated with the pick task.

Selecting a Task/Wave for Picking

Once users have located the desired task or wave, there are two methods to initiate the picking process:

1. Enter the Task#:

   • Users can manually type the task number into the Task# field.

   • After entering the number, click Accept to start the picking process for the selected wave.

2. Click on the Wave Record:

   • Users can also initiate the picking process by clicking directly on the task/wave listed in the module.

   • This action automatically begins the picking process for the selected task/wave.
