How to Access the Carton Detail View
Users can easily access the Carton Detail view by selecting the "Packing Slip Carton Detail" option from the Search by dropdown menu within the Packing Slip Centre.
Data Export Centre Updates
Additionally, the Packing Slip Carton Detail view has been integrated into the Data Export Centre, allowing for improved data extraction and reporting capabilities.
"Received Quality" column added to PO Centre (Detail view) and RMA Centre (Line view)
A new column, "Received Quality" has been added to the following views:
PO Centre (Detail view): Displays the quality of items received in the purchase order.
RMA Centre (Line view): Specifies the quality of items returned through the Return Merchandise Authorization process.
This column will enable users to specify and track the quality of items received into the system. By documenting quality upon receipt, users can better manage inventory quality, enhance supplier communication, and streamline return processes.
Added custom fields in the RMA center and 3PL customer portal (RMA Centre), at both header and detail levels
We have added custom fields to the RMA Centre at both the header and detail levels. These custom fields are available in the RMA Centres of both XoroERP and the 3PL Customer Portal, providing additional flexibility and customization for RMA management.
3PL Account Portal: Added the "Global Search" feature
We have implemented a Global Search feature in the 3PL Account Portal, offering users a streamlined search experience similar to the one available in XoroERP. The global search option is conveniently located at the top of the portal screen for easy access.
Key details of the Global Search feature
Search Scope: The search is limited to the 3PL orders of the same account. It does not include orders from other 3PL accounts.
Item Data Search: When searching for items, the system will navigate to the Item Centre, automatically filtering results by the searched item number.
Report Access: For all other searches, the system will generate relevant reports instead of opening sub-forms.
This enhancement provides users with a faster, more efficient way to access critical 3PL account data, ensuring quick navigation and report generation while maintaining account-level security.
Signature Requirement for Shipping in Sales Orders
A new checkbox labeled "Required Signature" has been added to the Shipping tab of the Sales Order interface. This enhancement allows users to specify whether a signature is necessary upon delivery.
How It Works
When creating or updating a Sales Order, users can select the "Required Signature" checkbox.
After allocating and picking waves for the Sales Order, proceed to the Ship Order 2 ship to initiate the shipment process.
If the "Required Signature Shipping" option is set to true, the "Service Filter" tab will automatically adjust to reflect this requirement:
The "Signature Required" field will be set to true
The "Signature Option" field will be set to "Default".
Manual Webhook Generation and Retriggering Capabilities
Several new features have been added to the Webhook management system to simplify and streamline the process of generating and managing webhooks.
Webhook Generation in Item Receipt Centre, Bill Centre, Invoice Centre, and Packing Slip Centre
A new option has been added to the Options Menu in the following centres to manually generate specific webhooks:
Item Receipt Centre and Bill Centre: The option "Generate Close Asn Webhook" has been added to the Options menu in the Item Receipt and Bill Centres, and generates a webhook for Close ASN of selected item receipts and bills.
Invoice Centre: The option "Generate Ship Confirmation Webhook" has been added to the Options menu in the Packing Slip Centre. This option is available when the "3PL Mode App" access is turned Off for the system and generates a webhook for Order Fulfillment of selected invoices.
Packing Slip Centre: The option "Generate Ship Confirmation Webhook" has been added to the Options menu in the Packing Slip Centre. This option is available when the "3PL Mode App" access is turned On for the system and generates a webhook for Order Fulfillment of selected packing slips.
Webhook Centre - Retrigger Webhook Functionality
A new action button, "Retrigger Webhook", has been added to the Action Column of the Webhook Log view in the Webhook Centre.
This feature allows users to retrigger the following webhooks:
Ready To Ship
Order Fulfillment
Close ASN
After retriggering the webhooks, changes made to the ASN or wave will be updated in the same webhook, as opposed to generating a new webhook log. For example, users can update certain Sales Order values for the Order Fulfillment Webhook to reflect changes in fulfillment details.
Enhanced Custom Field Functionality for ASN in XoroERP
We are pleased to introduce an enhancement to XoroERP that improves the flexibility and functionality of custom fields related to Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN). This update is designed to streamline the management of ASN data and improve the cross-referencing of Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) ASNs.
Key Features of the Update:
1. Introduction of "ASN Detail" Custom Field
A new custom field labeled "ASN Detail" has been added in the Custom Field Definition module. This field is critical for cross-referencing and searching RMA ASNs in the ASN Centre, making it easier to filter and manage ASNs related to RMAs.
Benefit: This feature allows users to efficiently search and cross-reference RMA ASNs, speeding up workflows and improving accuracy when managing returns.
2. Custom Field Mapping for PO and RMA
We have introduced functionality that allows mapping between custom fields at different levels in the Purchase Order (PO) and RMA processes, ensuring a seamless connection with ASN Detail fields.
Mapping Options:
PO item line → ASN Detail line: Custom fields defined at the PO item level are now mappable to the corresponding ASN Detail line.
RMA item line → ASN Detail line: Custom fields for RMA item lines can be mapped directly to the ASN Detail line.
RMA header → ASN header: Custom fields at the RMA header level can be mapped to the ASN header for easy reference.
Benefit: This mapping functionality ensures that information from POs and RMAs can be accurately carried over to ASNs, reducing manual data entry and the risk of errors.
3. Automatic Custom Field Mapping
If custom fields are not explicitly mapped by users, the system will automatically map ASN Detail custom fields one-to-one with their corresponding PO/RMA item line custom fields. This automatic feature ensures that data is linked without needing manual intervention.
Handling Data Type Mismatch: If a mismatch occurs between the data types of custom fields (e.g., a text field being mapped to a numeric field), the value of the mismatched field will not be added, preserving data integrity and avoiding potential errors in the workflow.
Benefit: This ensures that data is automatically and accurately transferred, streamlining operations and reducing the chances of mapping errors.
4. Custom Fields Support in Data Export Centre
We have also added support for exporting ASN Detail custom fields in the Data Export Centre. Users can now include these custom fields in their exports, providing more detailed and customizable reports.
Benefit: This feature empowers users to create more specific and tailored reports, enabling better data analysis and reporting.
XoroWMS Enhancements
Virtual Location Popup for Inventory Movement in XoroWMS
We are excited to announce a new enhancement in XoroWMS, designed to improve the user experience and increase operational clarity when managing inventory within Virtual Locations. This update introduces a popup message that alerts users when they attempt to move or Putaway inventory to a virtual location, ensuring they are fully informed about the nature of the virtual location before proceeding.
Key Features of the Update:
Virtual Location Confirmation Popup
When users attempt to move or putaway inventory to a virtual location, they will now see a popup message asking: “Do you want to proceed with transferring the inventory to a virtual location?
This popup ensures that users are aware they are interacting with a virtual location and that inventory moved there will be consumed.
Applicable Scenarios:
1. Move Inventory by LPN
Process: Scan LPN → Scan Virtual Location
Update: A popup will appear, asking the user if they want to proceed with the transfer to the virtual location.
Process: Scan LPN → Scan Pallet → Scan Virtual Location
Update: An error message will be displayed: “Pallet cannot be placed in a virtual location.” This is because virtual locations cannot be assigned to a pallet during its creation.
2. Move Inventory by Pallet
Process: Scan Pallet → Scan Virtual Location
Update: A popup will appear to confirm whether the user wants to proceed with the transfer.
3. Receiving Module
Move Pallet: Process: Scan Pallet → Scan Virtual Location Update: A popup will appear, asking the user if they want to proceed.
Putaway (System or User Directed): Process: When scanning a virtual location during putaway, a popup will appear to confirm the action.
4. Picking Module
Replenishment Putaway: Process: When scanning a virtual location, the popup message will appear, asking the user if they want to continue with the putaway.
Benefits of this Update:
Improved Decision-Making: The popup message provides users with critical information about the virtual location before completing the inventory movement, preventing unintended transfers.
Error Prevention: The system helps prevent errors by ensuring pallets are not mistakenly assigned to virtual locations.
Streamlined Workflow: The user experience is enhanced by prompting important information, ensuring that operations are conducted with full awareness of the virtual location's purpose.
New "Move LPN" Module in Receiving for XoroWMS
We are excited to introduce a new module, "Move LPN," in the receiving process for XoroWMS. This module enhances the flexibility of handling LPNs (License Plate Numbers) that are associated with ASNs but not yet in a closed status, allowing users to move LPNs to pallets or specific locations efficiently.
Key Features:
1. Move LPN to Pallet or Location
Scan LPN: The process begins by scanning the LPN.
Scan Pallet/Location: After scanning the LPN, users have the following options:
Location: Move all contents of the LPN to a designated location.
Random String (Invalid Location): If a random string is scanned (i.e., not a valid location), a pallet will be generated with that name, and a pop-up will appear asking for the actual location. The LPN contents will then be moved to this newly created pallet at the specified location.
Existing Pallet: If a valid pallet is scanned, the contents of the LPN will be transferred to the existing pallet and the corresponding location.
Handling Virtual Locations:
Virtual LPN: If a user scans a virtual location, the LPN is converted into a virtual LPN.
Virtual Pallet Restrictions: If a user attempts to move a pallet to a virtual location, an error will be displayed as pallets cannot be moved to virtual locations.
LPN Attribute Check: When moving an LPN to a virtual location, the system checks if the LPN attributes match the requirements. If the attributes differ, an error will be displayed, preventing the move.
This new module simplifies and improves the efficiency of inventory management within XoroWMS, providing enhanced control over LPN movements. For further assistance or inquiries, please reach out to our support team.
