What is an Item?

An item is essentially an SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) that represents the specific goods or services available for selling, purchasing, and manufacturing. It can range from raw materials and finished goods to services and labor hours. Each item is typically associated with unique identifiers, descriptions, pricing, inventory details, and categorization details. This categorization helps in managing the procurement, sales, inventory management, and financial accounting processes efficiently within the ERP system.

Items can be created in multiple ways:

Create a new item from the Item module

You can enter the item details in the dedicated "Item" module to create an item.

Generate Product Variants

You can generate the product variants (items) using the Product Matrix Generator option.
