#### Choosing the Inventory Movement Store

Upon selecting the Move option, the system will redirect you to the Assign Store module, where the store defined in your User Settings will be displayed. This is the designated source store for any inventory movements you will initiate. XoroWMS supports both **Inter Store** and **Intra Store** inventory movement, allowing for seamless management of stock across multiple locations.

* **Intra Store Movement:** This process involves moving the inventory within the same store.&#x20;

To move inventory within the same store, follow these steps:

#### **1. LPN# / From Location**

* This field requires users to enter the **LPN number** from which the inventory needs to be moved.
* If the inventory is stored in a **Virtual Location**, users should enter the corresponding **From Location** instead of an LPN.
* This ensures that the system accurately records the inventory’s current location before movement.

#### **2. Item**

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/HuYDOUjkFWBtqMnpv0jK" alt="" width="362"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

* Users must enter the **Item Number or UPC** to specify which item needs to be relocated.
* Clicking on the **three-dot menu** next to the Item field opens the **Item Inventory Details** pop-up.
  * This provides an overview of where the item is currently stored and on which **LPNs** the item exists.
  * This feature helps users make informed decisions regarding inventory movement.

#### **3. Quantity (Qty)**

* Users must input the **quantity of items** they intend to move.
* The quantity can be **increased or decreased** based on the available stock at the selected LPN or location.
* This allows flexibility in **partial or full stock relocation**, depending on operational needs.

#### **4. Move Button**

* Clicking on the **Move button** opens a pop-up where users must enter the **Location or ILPN#** to which the item will be moved.
* The system verifies the entered details before confirming the movement to ensure accuracy.
* This process ensures that inventory is assigned to the correct destination, maintaining an organized warehouse structure.

#### **5. Memo (Optional & App Config Dependent)**

* The **Memo field** allows users to enter additional notes or details related to the inventory movement.
* This field can be used to document:
  * Specific instructions for warehouse staff.
