Item Inventory Snapshot module offers multiple active columns. These columns provide you with a comprehensive view of inventory statuses, along with detailed analytical insights such as sales history and forecast trends. By clicking on specific inventory numbers, you can view crucial inventory metrics, sales history graphs, incoming delivery schedules, and cross-company inventory information. This detailed breakdown assists in strategic planning and decision-making, making it an indispensable feature for inventory management across various industries.
The “On Hand” and “Available” quantities serve as fundamental indicators of the current stock levels of an item. On clicking the "On Hand" or "Available" quantity, you will be redirected to the "Qty Details" screen, where you will be able to see the inventory levels in the header section, the sales history and forecast trend related to the item and the details of the on hand inventory.
The header section of the Qty Details screen displays the variousassociated with the item, along with the vendor name and vendor lead time. This section serves as a quick reference point for understanding the item’s stock position.
The sales history and forecast trend section of the Qty Details screen shows you a graph of the item sales and purchase quantity for the year.
Hover the mouse on the graph to view these 4 key parameters:
Units Sold: This shows the units of the item sold during that period.
Units Purchase: This shows the units of the item purchased during that period.
Units Consumed: If the item in question is a raw material, this shows the units of the item used during that period for producing a manufacturable item.
Units Produced: If the item in question is a manufacturable item, this shows the units of the item produced during that period.
In addition to these key parameters, the Sales History & Forecast Trends section has three sections to further present the inventory details:
The "Table View" shows the sales history and forecast in a tabular format, instead of the graph.
This section shows the details of the POs on which the Item has been ordered and the expected delivery date of the Item as per the PO.
Store
This field displays the store associated with the purchase order.
Item Number
This field displays the item number.
PO Number
This field shows the purchase order number on which the item has been ordered.
Qty Available
The available quantity of the item is captured in this field.
PO Qty
The total quantity ordered on the PO is captured in this field.
UOM
This field shows the unit of measurement for the item.
Expected Delivery Date
This field displays the date on which the item on the purchase order are supposed to be delivered.
Clicking on this tab will navigate you to the “Qty Detail Multi-Company” section. Here, you will find a comprehensive view of the inventory available by Location for the Item across all integrated instances.
*Please note that this section will only be available if the "Show Inventory Info (Multi Company)" app config is enabled.
The "On SO" and "On SO (Draft)" columns provide valuable insights into items currently committed to sales orders - both finalized and in draft form respectively. By clicking on these quantities, you are taken to the "On SO Details" screen. This screen showcases:
Sales Order Details: Specific information about the sales orders that include the item, aiding in efficient order management and planning. This section includes details such as the customer name, sales order number, order date, quantity ordered, quantity shipped, address instructions, shipping address, item custom fields, linked PO quantity, etc.
Similarly, by clicking on the "On PO" and "On PO (Draft)" quantities, you are directed to the "On PO Details" screen where you can view the purchase order details of the orders on which the item is currently requested. Here, you can expect to find:
Inventory Levels: Presenting a current overview of how many units of the item are available or in reserve.
Purchase Order Details: Specific information about the purchase orders that include the item, aiding in efficient order management and planning. This section include632s details such as store, vendor, purchase order number, quantity ordered, quantity received, purchase order status, linked SO quantity, etc.
Inventory Levels: This section displays a snapshot of the current for the item, along with the vendor name and vendor lead time.
