Creating Users

Creating users involves entering essential user details, such as user type, name, role, user ID, email, and facility. By default, all the users are active. However, you also have the option to create silent users. Silent users cannot log in to your Xoro system and also don’t count toward your subscription. They are typically added for reporting purposes. You can enable the silent user option for external sales representatives.

To create a user, go to Menu > Admin > User > User

User Details Fields

Type

This dropdown field allows you to select the type of user. By default, the user type is ERP User.

First Name

This field allows you to enter the first name of the user.

Role

This dropdown field allows you to select the role for this user. Once the User is created, they will automatically have access to only the modules that their assigned role has access to.

Phone#

This field allows you to enter the phone number for the user.

Print Requester

This dropdown field allows you to select the user who is responsible for initiating and managing print requests.

User ID

This field allows you to enter an ID for the user. This is the username that is used to log in. Usually, it is a combination of the First and Last Name.

Last Name

This field allows you to enter the last name of the user.

Email

This field allows you to enter a valid email for the user. Once the user is saved, they will receive an email at this address instructing them to set up their account.

Facility

This dropdown option allows you to select the physical location or site where the user operates. This field associates the user with a particular warehouse, distribution center, or other logistics facility within the organization.

Restrict Password Change

When a user is created an automatic password is generated for the user. If this option is enabled, it will restrict the user from changing the password.

After entering all the details, click "Save" to create the user.

Please note that if you are adding a new user to your system, please notify Xorosoft to ensure your subscription is up to date.
