This module allows for efficient handling of incoming inventory by scanning or entering item details and quantities, thereby simplifying inventory control and enhancing accuracy.
Users can ensure that all received items are accurately recorded and that inventory levels are updated in real time.
When utilizing the "Receive by Item" module, the primary fields to be managed are the item identifier and quantity to be received.

One of the standout features of the "Receive by Item" module is the Auto-Cartonization option. By clicking on this option, users can automatically put the item into cartons based on the master case quantity defined for the item. This feature eliminates the need for manual calculations and ensures that items are properly packaged and stored.
Here’s how it works:
Master Case Quantity: This is the number of units that constitute one master case for the item. It is defined in the item’s details and determines how many items are packed into each carton.
Carton Generation: When receiving items, the Auto-Cartonize function uses the master case quantity to automatically generate cartons. For instance, if the master case quantity is 10 and you are receiving 25 units of the item, the system will generate three cartons—two full cartons of 10 units each and one carton with the remaining 5 units.
On clicking "Auto Cartonize", pop-up screen will display the quantity being received and the number of cartons generated. Click "OK" to accept and proceed.
When you enter the item number and press "Enter", the module provides users with a range of item details fields.
UPC: The Universal Product Code (UPC) of the item.
Item#: The unique identifier for the item.
Quality: The quality of the item as described in the purchase order, such as "New" or "Refurbished" grade.
