Bill Of Material Centre Fields
Bill of Material Centre house all the BOMs created in the system, including the various BOM revisions. It streamlines the management and navigation of Bill of Materials (BOMs) through customizable search criteria and intuitive interface features. Let's have a look at the key fields and options available within this centre.
Header Level Option
Batch Delete: Allows you to batch delete the selected bill of materials from the system. Please note that only the BOMs that have not been utilized in any manufacturing order can be deleted from the system.
Context View (Right-click) Options
Open: Allows you to view the BOM details in a read-only mode.
Delete: Deletes the BOM.
Edit in new window: Opens the BOM details in a new window for viewing and editing without leaving the main Bill of Materials Centre page.
Header Search Fields
The Bill of Material Centre provides users with multiple search criteria options to filter and locate specific BOMs efficiently.
Show Active Only: Enable this option to only view the BOMs that are marked as "Active".
Search By: This dropdown option allows you to view the result by "Bill Of Material" or "Bill Of Material Lines".
Item#: This allows you to search and filter the results by BOM item name.
Description: This allows you to search and filter the results by BOM item description.
Include Revisions: Enable this option to view all the BOM revisions in the search results.
Show Latest Revision: Enable this option only show the latest BOM revisions in the centre.
Header Level Icons
These features cater to diverse needs, providing users with a seamless experience while navigating and managing customer information.
Refresh: This functionality empowers users to refresh search results based on selected criteria, ensuring that the displayed information is always up-to-date.
Save: Save feature enables users to preserve any updated user interface (UI) settings, ensuring a personalized and consistent experience during future interactions with the module.
Advanced Search: The Advanced Search option elevates customer information retrieval to a sophisticated level. Users can delve into a nuanced search by specifying criteria such as Column Name, Operator, and Value, facilitating precise and tailored searches.
Columns: All the columns available for the module are listed under this icon. You can use this option to hide or add the columns and tailor the module view as per your requirements. The options in the dropdown change as per the selected option in the Search By Field.
Download: This versatile feature allows users to export and download data in various file formats, providing a summarized overview for quick reference. Options include CSV, TXT, MS-Word, MS-Excel, PDF, and MS-Excel(.xlsx), catering to diverse user preferences and use cases.
