The process of creating a lab record in XoroERP is divided into two main sections: the Header Section and the Record Lines Section. Each section captures specific details required for lab record management.
The Manufacturing Lab Record Header Section contains fields that define the basic details of the lab record, including manufacturing order numbers, specifications, and catalyst details.

Description
MO Number
Dropdown to select the Manufacturing Order (MO) associated with the lab record.
Lab Record Number
A unique identifier for the lab record, automatically generated or manually input.
Dropdown to choose the item specification that applies to the manufacturing operation.
Catalyst
Dropdown to select the catalyst used in the manufacturing process, which determines the property values displayed below.
Five Property Values
Editable fields based on the selected catalyst, allowing input of specific properties that influence the manufacturing process.
Manufacturing Date and Expiry Date
Input fields for recording the manufacturing and expiry dates with validation for logical accuracy.
Shelf Note and Statement Note
Initially input fields; later converted to dropdown options for consistent reporting.

1. MO Number
Open the dropdown menu for the "MO Number" field.
Browse or search for the relevant Manufacturing Order (MO).
Select the MO associated with the lab record.
2. Lab Record Number
Check if the Lab Record Number is automatically generated. If not:
Click on the input field.
Manually input a unique identifier for the lab record.
Verify that the entered or auto-generated number is correct.
3. Item Specification
Click the dropdown menu for the "Item Specification" field.
Search for the applicable item specification for the manufacturing operation.
Select the correct specification from the list.
4. Catalyst
Access the dropdown menu for the "Catalyst" field.
Review the list of available catalysts.
Select the catalyst used in the manufacturing process to populate the property values below.
5. Five Property Values
Based on the selected catalyst, editable fields for properties will be displayed.
For each field:
Click on the input area.
Enter the corresponding property value required for the manufacturing process.
Repeat for all five property fields and validate the entries.
6. Manufacturing Date and Expiry Date
Locate the "Manufacturing Date" field and click on it.
Use the date picker or manually input the manufacturing date.
Navigate to the "Expiry Date" field and click on it.
Use the date picker or manually input the expiry date.
Ensure the dates follow logical and operational standards (e.g., expiry date is later than the manufacturing date).
7. Shelf Note and Statement Note
Initially, input the required Shelf Note and Statement Note into their respective fields.
Once entered, these fields will convert to dropdown options for future use.
Review dropdown options for consistency in reporting.
8. Flags
Shelf Life Show on Report:
Toggle or check the option to indicate if the shelf life should appear in reports.
Statement Note Show on Report:
Toggle or check the option to indicate if the statement note should appear in reports.
The Record Lines Section provides detailed fields to capture and validate specific property values for the item specifications.
Dropdown to select the specific property being recorded for the item.
Dropdown to choose the Unit of Measure (UOM) for the selected property.
Dropdown to specify the test method used to measure or validate the selected property.
Required Value
Input field to specify the expected or standard value for the selected property.
Actual Value
Input field to record the actual value measured during the manufacturing process.
1. Item Specification Property
Click on the dropdown menu for the "Item Specification Property" field.
Browse through the available options or use the search feature to locate the desired property.
Select the property that matches the specification you want to record.
2. Item Specification UOM
Open the dropdown menu for the "Item Specification UOM" field.
Review the list of available Units of Measure.
Choose the UOM that corresponds to the selected property.
3. Item Specification Test Method
Access the dropdown menu for the "Item Specification Test Method" field.
Review the available test methods listed.
Select the appropriate test method used for measuring or validating the selected property.
4. Required Value
Click inside the "Required Value" input field.
Enter the standard or expected value for the selected property based on specifications or guidelines.
5. Actual Value
Click inside the "Actual Value" input field.
Input the measured value obtained during the manufacturing or validation process.
Verify the entered value for correctness before saving or proceeding.
Features:
Add Button: Allows users to create new entries in the record lines section.
Duplicate Prevention: Ensures there are no duplicate entries for the same property, maintaining data accuracy.
Void
Allows users to void the Manufacturing Lab Record if it is no longer required or created in error.
Allows users to save the entered details and officially create the Manufacturing Lab Record in the system.
