Inventory Adjustment Centre
The Inventory Adjustment Centre allows you to effectively manage inventory adjustments within the system. It provides a detailed and organized view of all inventory changes, enabling users to easily filter, search, and analyze the inventory adjustments. Whether dealing with changes in quantity, value, or both, this module streamlines the process of tracking inventory adjustments by offering a range of fields and functionalities like specific adjustment types, item descriptions, and reasons for adjustments. It is particularly beneficial for businesses with multiple store locations, offering insights into adjustments at a granular level to ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.
Inventory Adjustment Centre Search Fields
To refine your search for inventory adjustments, utilize the following fields at the top of the module:
Search by: This dropdown menu allows users to specify the preferred view for reviewing inventory adjustments. It offers two distinct options:
- Inventory Adjustment: Provides an overview of inventory adjustments. - Inventory Adjustment Detail: Offers detailed information about each inventory adjustment.
Store: This dropdown enables you to filter the inventory adjustments by store. Select a store from the dropdown to filter and see only the inventory adjustments for that location. This is helpful if your organization has several stores, letting you concentrate on the adjustments relevant to a specific store.
Inventory Adjustment Centre Fields
Store
This field defines the store associated with the inventory adjustment.
Date
This field shows the date when the inventory adjustment was made.
Adj Number
This field displays a unique identifier for the inventory adjustment.
Type
This field indicates the type of adjustment, such as quality, value, or quality & value.
Item
The unique identifier of the item that underwent inventory adjustment.
Description
This field shows the description of the item.
UOM
This field displays the unit of measurement for the item.
Qty
This field displays the quantity of the item that was adjusted.
Average Unit Cost
This field displays the average unit cost of the item.
Total Adjustment
This field shows the total value of the inventory adjustment, calculated based on the quantity and unit cost.
Location
This field displays the location associated with the inventory adjustment.
Account
This field captures the account associated with the inventory adjustment.
Ref Number
This field captures the reference number associated with the adjustment, used for tracking and reference purposes.
Reason Code
This field shows the code indicating the reason for the inventory adjustment, such as damage, inventory found, restocking, etc.
Qty Adj
This field shows the adjusted quantity of the item, highlighting the change from the original stock level. It reflects the increase or decrease in the item's quantity as a result of the inventory adjustment.
Value Adj
This field represents the change in the monetary value of the stock due to the inventory adjustment.
Adj Amount
This field serves as a comprehensive indicator of the net adjustment made to inventory, considering both quantity and value adjustments. It represents the combined effect of adjusting the quantity and value of inventory items
Memo
This field allows you to add additional information or notes related to the inventory adjustment.
Create Datetime
The exact date and time when the inventory adjustment was created.
Created By
The person or entity that made the inventory adjustment.
Image
This field shows the item image.
LPN#
This field displays the LPN associated with the inventory adjustment.
UPC
This field shows the UPC for the item.
Product Category
This field displays the product category associated with the item.
Quality
This field shows the item quality.
Alternative Item Number1
This field displays an alternative item number1 for the item, providing additional identification.
Alternative Item Number2
This field displays an alternative item number2 for the item, providing additional identification.
Alternative Item Number3
This field displays an alternative item number3 for the item, providing additional identification.
Sent by Scheduler
Indicates whether the adjustment was automatically generated by a scheduling system.
Inventory Adjustment Centre Header Level Icons
Refresh: This allows you to refresh the search results after changing the search criterion.
Save: This option enables you to preserve any updated user interface (UI) settings (for example, if you have hidden or added any columns for viewing), ensuring a personalized and consistent experience during future interactions with the module.
Advance Search: The advance search option enables you to further extend the search criteria. You can delve into a nuanced search by specifying criteria such as Column Name, Operator, and Value, facilitating precise and tailored searches.
Columns (Bento Menu): All the columns available for the module are listed under this icon. You can use this option to hide or add the columns and tailor the module view as per your requirements.
Download: This versatile feature allows users to export and download data in various file formats, providing a summarized overview for quick reference. Options include CSV, TXT, MS-Word, MS-Excel, PDF, and MS-Excel(.xlsx), catering to diverse user preferences and use cases.
